The pursuit of this goal means:
- To become conscious of and to experience the connection of the soul with the Oversoul.
- To be willing to adopt a way of life for this connection to be continuously developed towards knowledge of self and God.
It is crucial to have a personal inner experience in order to find the answer to the meaning of life.

How can we acquire a practical, personal experience?
The search for meaning can only be started inside. Only our own inner experience will give us the answers we are looking for. We have to practice by going inside.
Any person can walk this inner path to the source of life, God Himself. This is not a new way nor a new method. Since the beginning of time, the competent living Master activates this connection: The spiritual aspirant is empowered by the help found during the initiation to experience consciously, for the first time, the Oversoul in its living aspects: the inner light and the inner sound.
"These references to light and sound are not figurative but literal, referring not to the outer illuminations or sounds of this world, but to the inner transcendental ones. This transcendental Sound and this transcendental Light are the primal manifestations of God when He projects Himself into creation. The activation of the connection of the soul with the Oversoul (the process known as initiation) is independent of people, places and things, time and matter. This connection is to be developed as we walk the Path towards oneness with God. Development is achieved by means of meditation, supported by an appropriate way of life.
